What our customers say

We're proud of the repairs we hand back. Here's what Orewa and Hibiscus Coast drivers have told us.

A HUGE thank you to the lovely owners of this place for the exceptional job they did in checking out my car for damage, following a minor accident, when I popped in today. They were so caring & thorough, even making me a coffee and biscuit while I waited. I recommend them without hesitation — definitely 5 star plus service!

Bonita, Eugene, and the team went above and beyond to help me. My car needed rust repairs after failing its WOF, and I was referred to RustFix (operating out of Orewa Panel & Paint). From my first interaction, the service was outstanding. They came to my home to assess the work, provided a quote the very next day, and once I accepted it, completed the repairs within 24 hours of me dropping off the vehicle. They also supplied before-and-after photos for the WOF reinspection, along with documentation confirming the repairs had been completed. What impressed me most was their willingness to help when I explained I couldn’t pay the full amount upfront. They went out of their way to arrange Afterpay so I could get my car safely back on the road without delay. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and they genuinely cared about finding a solution that worked for me. Times are tough these days, so it’s important to recognise businesses that provide exceptional service and truly look after their customers. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

The guys at Orewa Panel & Paint are my new heroes. Yesterday I had to go for a wee biopsy at Skin Safe in Orewa. It was bucketing down — nothing out of the ordinary there — but I'm in a wheelchair and getting in and out of the car in the open in the rain is a total nightmare. My husband, Allan, gets drenched getting the chair from the boot. Then the chair gets drenched. Then I get drenched as he helps me into it... so does the inside of the car. Such fun! Anyway, Skin Safe's disabled park is out in the open. Al noticed that Orewa Panel & Paint, a few doors away, had a little undercover courtyard/entry. He asked the guys if they'd mind us getting out of the car there. Talk about heroes in shining armour (or should that be overalls)! They were SO obliging. They even let us leave the car parked there, loaned us a huge umbrella, and then they even gave us a wee gift when we returned for the car. Truly, if you ever need a panel or paint job go to OREWA PANEL & PAINT. Charming gentlemen... service above and beyond. My new heroes!
